I was just thinking earlier today about how many bloggers and others in the osr are in the Detroit area. I know of 2 or 3 already, but I thought I'd ask.. how many of you out there are in Detroit metro? Do you have a regular DnD group?
Does it count if I'm originally from the Detroit area? I grew up in Grosse Pointe and a few of the people I used to game with are still in the area (though most don't game much anymore).
I am. I have a few friends—mostly from childhood—who I still game with in person. We game very week for a month or two, but then we'll not play at all for several months. And with everybody's busy schedules, it's sometimes easier to play over Skype even with local people.
Just yesterday, I was checking-out the Detroit D&D meetup page. Looks like they're overwhelmingly 4e.
Risus - cool :) Paul - shoot me an email the next time you're getting together, if you like. I might be able to make it. Grue - yeah, I wonder why.. everybody seemed to like him in it.

Speaking of 4e...
Did you notice they took Eminem's voice-over out of that latest Chrysler commercial and replaced it with some older guy's voice?
