It's Alive!

Hammer Films resurrected after three decades

This is fabulous news for all those of us who look at Christopher Lee and see Dracula instead of Saruman. In the states, the Roger Corman horror & suspense pictures with Vincent Price live in a place next door to them in our brains, but we've long ago admitted we'd never see another 'Masque of the Red Death.' This announcement holds out hope that a similar spirit, if not a similar staff, can be rekindled for our sensory inspiration.

Wow, that is exciting news! I've had a long standing love affair with Hammer Films and I am giddy at the prospect of seeing the studio back in action making quality horror movies telling great stories.

The first film released by the New Hammer was Let Me In. They are promising a Captein Kronos, Vampire Hunter reboot.

From the information I've seen about 'The Woman in Black,' which is in filming now, it's precisely the sort of thing we're hoping for.
